How many lives has Trump's hand-picked Coronavirus Task Force saved?

I'm going with 0 lives saved from COVID-19 and approximately 60,000 additional deaths due to his team's policies.

But I know there are some HUGE fans of Trump's coronavirus team on this forum (bladefd, TheMan, highwhey, n00bie, ~primetime~, Rooster, rufuspaul, ItsMillerTime, 4pointshot), so their estimates will be high no doubt.

According to CNN, MSNBC, and Democrats/Joe Biden, etc, Trump is directly responsible for the virus outcomes. Thus, by their own recent predictions, Trump's hand-picked task force has saved MILLIONS of lives!

Oh I don't know, maybe acknowledge that the virus is real? Maybe listen to and follow the advice of scientists and medical professionals? Maybe mobilize a national effort to test and contact trace like most other 1st world countries have done? Maybe not cheer on idiots that were protesting the lockdown? Maybe not chastise governors and mayors for not opening back up too quickly? Maybe have just an ounce of compassion for people who are suffering and dying?

Here in NC our governor is getting flak for keeping the state in phase 2 for another 5 weeks. Truth be told we should've never moved out of phase 1. Our trends are pointing towards another total lockdown since we didn't get the 1st one right.

He seems to have no clue what's going on and never responded to any of my follow-ups to his posts. His pseudo-scientific, communistic approach to this uncontrollable seasonal coronavirus is disheartening to say the least.

Hospital beds w/ COVID currently: 1,147 source

Only 5.3% of NC hospital beds are being used by patients with COVID. But keep in mind that some of those patients aren't even in FOR COVID, but simply WITH COVID & many of these patients are ill regardless of COVID, so they could have been hospitalized regardless of COVID.

I hate to agree with CNN, but 5.6 million sounds about right.

It took balls to close down one of the greatest economies of all time, while being called a xenophobe and a racist for banning China. Not many people could have done that under similar circumstances.

Just being called a xenophobe and a racist in it self would have delayed other Presidents for who knows how many weeks. And that delay would had caused that China virus to spread at an unimaginable, exponential level.

People forget, but if you remember back to even March, people thought it was silly to even suspend the NBA season. Posters like Walk on Water got their threads deleted for suggesting such a thing. Yet Trump understood the situation and he took all the criticism, saving millions in the process.
