Some of the long 2's he's hit lately were such incredibly difficult shots. He's clearly an insanely great shooter.

But why has he only averaged 31% from 3 the past couple seasons? He sure looks like a more pure shooter than that would indicate. I feel like a decent # of his 3 attempts in the playoffs seem to be late-shotclock heaves rather than spotting up as part of a play a la Dirk. Someone who's watched him regularly, has that been the reason for his low % during the regular season?
