Funny how old Jordan gets a free pass for not making the playoffs with those Wizards in a conference where a team whose leading scorer averaged 14.9 points made the finals.
Yet a 39 year-old Karl Malone and a 40 year-old John Stockton were perfectly capable of leading their team to the playoffs in the significantly tougher western conference.

Good, glad that we agree that Jordan couldn't make the playoffs in the significantly inferior conference during both of his seasons with the Wizards.

Lol @you not noticing that i was only augmenting your point further. Sloan was truly a better coach than collins ever was. And idc about baldan that much after his days in chicago were already over.

It seems that you were trying to justify Jordan failing to make the playoffs because he had a bad coach. He should've been able to make the playoffs regardless of who his coach was.

But i ain't so chill out with the projections. And i'm not one of those who think that he can bring another team to a postseason trip because he was pretty much rusty already after a two-season vacation.

Current Lebron couldn't even enter the playoffs last year

He can’t, the nets team in 2003 were dominant in the east conference playoffs, winning 10 straight on their way to the finals with 2 sweeps in ECSF and ECF. Even the spurs needed 6 games including a monstrous game 6 to hold off that Nets team, LeBron at 35 ain’t going to beat them with the Wizards rosters.

The East was at arguably its all time worst so of course Lebron could have lead that team to the Finals.

Those two Nets finals teams are hands down the worst finalists to represent a conference two years in a row in the history of the league.

And I respect the hell out of Jason Kidd. But we're talking about teams whose leading scorers averaged 14.9 (2002) and 18.7 (2003) points per game, and whose second best player by a huge margin was Kenyon Martin.

Doug Collins is actually a good coach. His grant hill led Pistons won 54 games in the late 1990's.

No he could not. The Nets were better and current Lebron needs a reliable second scorer. Stackhouse's 30 points on 30 shots won't cut it. The RIP version is a better fit for him.

    Prime Lebron could.
