• Same stand for horizontal and vertical use
• Side plates user-removable (presumably replaceable)
• M.2 expansion slot bag is behind a single screw/cover
• 2x Dust catchers, which can be vacuumed out

Shits nearly the size of a PC tower now
Lots of design put into it staying cool and quiet unlike the jet fueled PS4.
You finna cop after release? stick with PC?

Re: Playstation 5 physical teardown
Actually excited to get a PS5 at launch. When PS4 released in 2013 it's guts were already archaic on old gcn architecture GPU 1.4 TF.
I have giga speed internet now and PS4's wifi card governs downloads to <100mbps. I run a LAN directly and it bounces between 60-130mbps. Losing packets non stop on COD/BF, killed after running behind walls is a sure bet. Aint even mad
The UI on ps4 is slower than Windows 95, running multiple applications is just not an option so it's as generic as DOS. Messaging, PS store, web browser, netflix, it's a 15-30 sec lag flipping apps. 60 sec lag if running a multiplayer game. Tried streaming PSnow games on that free trial, forget about it.
Meanwhile my busted Iphone 6 backup from 2014 can breeze past 300mbps 50 yards from the router

Re: Playstation 5 physical teardown
so will the ps5 have the same high fps mode? just saw jackfrags review the new xbox and he showed the mode where u sacrifice some of the graphics quality to target 120hz (HIGH FPS MODE), and he praised it bc it did very well. that's pretty cool...graphics still looked sick.
ya'll in for a surprise, once you game in high fps with a first person shooter like cod, you will not want to go back.

Hopefully huge open world games like gta will have no fps drops anymore. Kinda hard to appreciate the awesome gameplay when there's some lag to it.

im guessing it'll be like ps4 pro with games having a performance mode and resolution mode to choose, or settings for 4k TV vs 1440/1080
lots of peeps gonna be running a PS5 on old TVs still without hdr
