You still need leadership and someone (or a committee) to oversee everything so someone doesn't try to cheat the system. If humans can be unselfish, moral beings and 'good' by nature, it would work but alas humans are not.

Humans are easily corrupted, greedy and dangerous creatures. It simply would not last. It might last perhaps a week, a month, maybe a few months if I'm being very generous and giving the community a benefit of the doubt. Jealousy, envy, selfish behavior on the side of a few will eventually lead to anger and friction between people. Anger leads to hatred and grudges among people. Hatred and grudge leads to an endless cycle of violence that continues for generations (like between America and Middle-Eastern terrorists).

You obviously have to punish people who break the rules. That leads to anger and the desire for revenge. It eventually leads to hate.

Also, if you go against the majority grain (worker class), you will be seen as a threat to the system. What do you think happened in America when blacks rose against the majority for civil rights in the 50s/60s and civil rights were passed? Many whites saw it as a threat against their way of living even though it was not to take away their power. Civil rights were passed just to put blacks on equal grounds, or at least attempt to. MLKjr was seen as a threat. If you go against the majority grain, you will be seen as a threat. I realize Marxism is for AFTER the classes are disintegrated, but humans carry grudges from generation to generation & develop grudges along the path.

Finally, people are motivated to work with the belief that they will have a surplus left after they pay their bills and the belief that they are working for the benefit of that surplus rather than surviving just for the sake of surviving. Communism takes any idea of surplus, profit and dream out of your life. People would lose the motivation to work at their hardest. Think of profit as a carrot in front of a donkey - the donkey will push harder if he thinks he will get that carrot if he pushes himself. Remove the carrot and eventually the donkey will lose motivation to push himself.

A better system is one that has a healthy balance. You want some capitalism that is not overpowered but just enough to keep the ceiling high. You want some socialism as a safety net and to keep the floor high. Keep a balance and you have a system. Communism goes to the extreme and so does corporatism (I also call it runaway capitalism. You don't want either communism or corporatism but rather something in between, such as social democracy that FDR/Bernie are close to on a political scale.
Social Democracy is for cowards who are too afraid to try something bold.

Communism is a classless, stateless, moneyless society based upon the maxim “from each according to his ability to each according to his needs”. You keep talking about socialist states when Communism can’t even exist with a state. Literally the only person in this thread who knows what communism is besides me is Phong, apparently.
Do your parents know how polluted your brain has become? Do they support the same warped ideology??

Otherwise, shame on them for harboring a traitorous Commie.

It takes a lot of courage and boldness to sit on your unemployed ass and pray to be rescued by Communism.

That was my takeaway. I'm 4 minutes and 40 seconds in and she just said Obama when she meant Trump.

The likes of Pelosi, Feinstein, Schumer and Biden have been in DC for 30+ years. They are old and out of touch and their minds have gone.

Trump has had plenty of meltdowns.

I'm so glad that I didn't vote for him.
