Best player each century this millennium:
1st: Lebron
2nd: To be determined(Lebron?)

The rest I agree with though.
Regular season don't matter. Giannis has 2x MVPs in a row & nobody says he's NBA's best player.
Dirk was phenomenal & clearly was best player after that playoff run in 2011.

Re: best player each year this decade
Curry has to be in two of those seasons at least. That season they won 67 and 73 games, he looked unreal. As in Shaq unstoppable.
I'd put his peak play up there with just about anyone.

Curry was amazing in regular season during 2016, but still came up short in playoffs.
A player's true testamente of a player's legacy & status is based on playoffs.

Honestly, this time around I think once the Clippers went down even the most fanatical LeBron hater knew he was gonna win the chip at that point, it was inevitable. Their best hope was AD winning FMVP
2016 is the one that I think devastated the haters the most, from being down 3-1 through the insanely nerve wracking Game 7, for LeBron to win the title in that fashion is literally the worst possible outcome for a hater

But at least they can cling to a teammate's shot in what turned out to be a 4 point victory where they would have won even without that shot, to try to shift glory away from the guy who scored more points, dished more dimes, cleaned the boards and defended better than any other player in the series.

Re: best player each year this decade
The only times I felt a player had legitimately surpassed LeBron this decade was Curry in '16 & Kawhi last year. Then in each instance, LeBron took back the BITW title in convincing fashion, while those two each had colossal collapses to further emphasize the transfer of the title back to LeBron
