The only times I felt a player had legitimately surpassed LeBron this decade was Curry in '16 & Kawhi last year. Then in each instance, LeBron took back the BITW title in convincing fashion, while those two each had colossal collapses to further emphasize the transfer of the title back to LeBron

I get it for 2016, but why including 2019 when LeBron couldn't make it to playoffs?

Whatever happens in following years is irrelevant.
