Tab, the soda, will cease to exist
Tab was one of the OG's of diet cola. But Coca-Cola has decided that it's the end of the like for Tab.
Per USA Today, Tab began in 1963 and was Coca-Cola's first diet soda.
Which reminded me of another soda I forget existed: RC Cola.
And then a soda that I actually LOVED and still see around sometimes but not everywhere: Welch's grape soda. Which out of the bottle was just okay, but out of the CAN was a favorite.

I don't really drink soda much but I had no idea Tab was even still a thing.

Tang was made for astronauts, or at least it was marketed as the astronauts drink. It's really not that good, they took it into space because it was a powder and saved weight.
Tab was marketed towards women. The commercials showed young, skinny models drinking Tab, with the implication that if you drank the stuff you too would become young and attractive. That kind of marketing wouldn't be acceptable today. So Tab goes the way of New Coke.

lol I didn't even know Tab even still existed. I maybe have seen it as a really young kid, but have no memory of it. Either way, I know I've never seen it in the last 20 years of this new century that's for sure.
