The guy that's quicker and more explosive, has a much better handle, and has more range is easily the more aesthetically pleasing player.

Pierce's game for me. Like seeing him utilize the post, and pull up for jumpers not beyond the three. That footwork was impeccable too. Depending on who you ask, Pierce had the best footwork for a perimeter player.

That wasn't a bad game by Harden standards other than a few that looked like really bad carries. I'm not a big stickler on those, but a couple there crossed the line for me.

Believe it or not Harden wasnt the point of this. I had Pierces game and the topic written out before even finding the second video. I chose 31 points because its not much to remember. Not some legendary performance just...a random mid season game. I got Harden, Luka, KP, Embiid, and Trae Young quickly in my 31 point night search. Harden was the obvious pick to put against Paul with them being wings and actually compared when Harden was coming out. Luka really would have worked too.

Extra "Believe it or not"? I wrote the post above without seeing yours. It just took a minute for me to get back to my desk with these doritos and cran grape juice or id have posted it some time ago.

Not that I have any problem with your assumption because I would rather watch Pierce play. Just clearing up the assumption that Pierce/Harden was my initial goal.

Contrasting Pierces style and a random modern performance resulting in the same points was the goal.
