All-Star Rudy Gobert to ESPN on Utah Jazz allowing limited fans in arena: “I think that if they make it happen they probably have the scientific evidence that it would be safe for us and for the fans in attendance.” Gobert was the 1st NBA player to test positive for COVID-19.

Calling my very extremely too early shot for my favorite realistic Utah Jazz 2021 NBA Draft target: Chris Smith from UCLA. Senior, 6-9, long and athletic, can play three positions. Also could last into the 20's because of how deep the draft is. Still improving even as a Sr.
Jaz may be in the lottery if Rudy misses time again or is traded. Way too early

Tim Bontemps: What happens with Rudy Gobert in Utah. It has been a good offseason for the Jazz, between reaching a deal with Jordan Clarkson, bringing back old friend Derrick Favors and securing Donovan Mitchell with a max contract extension. But with Gobert one year from unrestricted free agency, the final piece of Utah’s offseason will be trying to get Gobert signed to a contract extension to keep him with the franchise long-term. If they can’t reach an agreement, Gobert will become an intriguing trade target.

New Sixers big man Tony Bradley said he's been working on his jumper and does aspire to be a stretch 5. He also wants to be someone who can grab a rebound and push the ball up the floor.
He can already shoot it. Just needs someone to let him do it

Asked Troy Weaver what he saw in Stewart, and why the Pistons targeted a big with the 16th pick: "The game starts when the shot goes up. The teams that can rebound the ball are usually the better team. We saw the Lakers win the championship, they had tremendous size."
and the Jazz have no starting 4 except Favors spotting up in the corner

Jazz have officially announced the signing of Derrick Favors: “We jumped at the chance to bring him back. His toughness, physicality and selflessness are key reasons he’s had such success in this league,” said EVP Dennis Lindsey.
the main reason like the rest of the organization is Rudy though

still a bit of work to do. Batum could certainly make a difference not that it really matters with Clarkson and no pf other than Favors spotting up in the corner

Derrick Favors on what role he expects to have with the @UtahJazz. "I already knew my role once I signed back. I already knew what it was, I'm probably going to come off the bench. I won't play 30 minutes, probably play maybe 24-25 minutes." @KSLSports

The G League season has been a huge question mark, but some good news here for prospective players and coaches: I’m told the NBA continues to make a strong push for it. A #GLeague spokesperson told me they’re “committed to playing a 2020-21 season.”

Fav said Quin Snyder was one of the biggest reasons he wanted to come back: “I wanted to play for coach Quin. He’s my favorite coach in the world. ... He’s a smart guy, smart coach, he puts everyone in position to succeed.”
Favors spotting up for 3!
