It is what it is
So...is The Don still leader of the GOP?
Better question, should he be leader of the Republicans? This dude got Democrats and most independents so riled up to vote against him that a vanilla Establishment candidate like Sleepy Joe got a historic 80 million plus amount of votes just to be rid of Orange Man Bad
Seeing that a record amount of Americans roundly rejected the Don, should the GOP start looking for the new face of the GOP or should they stick with Trump? I mean he did improve on his numbers from 2016 so obviously he does have a lot of support...
What say you?

What are you going to do with your life when Trump isn't president? Might be time for a new hobby.

I think the base is split...with maybe half who are die hard Trumpers and will take to the grave that he was the greatest POTUS to ever live (with the exception of 'maybe' Lincoln). And then half of them that would like to distance from Trump and move on.
I do think once the dust has settled (could be a year or two) they will be praising a new leader...maybe Tucker Carlson if he decides to run in 2024

It is interesting because his rhetoric set off the "woke" left and now that rhetoric has overtaken (seemingly) the Democrat party.
--- Defund the Police
--- BDS vs. Israel
--- College Debt Forgiveness
--- Green New Deal
--- Higher Taxes
--- America is systemically racist
--- Calling BLM riots mostly peaceful protests
That mantra is not supported by most moderates on the left or the right. With the media leaning mostly left the above didn't get as much play as Trump's narcissism, alleged racism and sexism. He was running on the economy until COVID struck. Given his age I do not believe he is the flag bearer for the GOP but he did garner ~73mil votes and his message of America First and Free Speech, etc. does resonate. I believe you will see Nikki Haley and Dan Crenshaw come out as the new faces of the GOP to go up against the faces of the Democrat party that are AOC and Kamala Harris.
Should be quite interesting

Another Trump thread created by you. Your derangement is in full display. You hate to see it.

I'm not bashing Trump, don't get so defensive. It's a legitimate question, he has a ton of supporters but apparently more haters. So what should the GOP do going forward?

Re: So...is The Don still leader of the GOP?
The GOP has literally barely even acknowledged the existence of George Bush, or anyone from his administration, since the end of his presidency. And that was with a guy who lasted 2 terms and while definitely polarizing, has nothing on Trump in that department. I do wonder where Trump & the GOP go from here in the future

"I'm not bashing Trump" he says.
Creates 20 threads that bash Trump.
Yes. Don is still the leader of the Party. He will get 100 million votes in 2024.

Hey Pat, didn’t you lose an avy bet to OP? Where’s it at?
OP, I personally recommend a picture of Fidel Castro. It’ll get Pat all riled up for sure.

First we have to see if the Don is able to avoid going to prison.
