No. Peak Jordan got most of his buckets at the basket. He would drive, drive and drive some more. In 1988, for example (an MJ peak year - perhaps his best year) he only made 7 threes total.

Even Bill Laimbeer made more threes than Jordan in 1988. Barkley made 44 threes in 1988, for example.

Peak Jordan attacked the rim constantly.

When MJ got older he started to mix in more and more midrange - but he was afraid of threes.

On the other hand LeBron is one of the greatest three point shooters of all time and can make more deep shots in one game than Jordan makes in an entire year.
