I never understood how LaMelo was going to make the NBA. He always seemed to not care and avoid being engaged. Watching him play you see he really got timing, the ability to draw the defence and make good decisions. He seems to be able to snick layups past big men, and if he gets more then one defender on him he is able to find the open man. He does not seem to search for assists like Rondo used to do and he does not seem to be a one-trick pony where he can only pass and not finish, like Ricky Rubio. He still took some I am a superstar 3 pointers last night, but that the only bad thing I saw except defence, obviously.
