Default 1994 Bulls: 55 wins & lost in second second. 1995 Rockets: 47 wins & swept Finals.

55 wins isn't anything if you can't get out of the second round. Plenty of teams win 50 games, but are no threat. That's just an above average to a good team historically. Not great. Let's stop acting like a second-round team that played a soft schedule in an expansion era means anything. Bulls didn't even win their division that year. 37% of the teams in the league won 50 games in 1994. Teams are historically measured by their playoffs performance. Nobody remembers that the Spurs won 55 games in 1994. Nobody but Lebron fans care that the Bulls won 55 games that year.

BTW, Bulls upgraded 25 percent of their roster in 1994 and added arguably the greatest Euro player of all-time up to that point. Yea, they lost Jordan's 32.6ppg, but they added Kukoc 11ppg, Kerr 8.6ppg, Myers 7.6ppg, & Longley 7.5ppg. Aside from missing Jordan, the overall roster was far better and far more athletic than in 1993. Bull had 4 legit 7 footers in 1994 that all made major contributions, and adding Kukoc gave them another 6'10" rangy SF. Bulls had one of the longest, most athletic teams in the league in the front court. They were extremely deep. In addition both Grant and Armstrong were championship veterans and all-stars, and Bulls still had arguably the greatest coach of all-time. People on here act like Pippen supporting cast was nothing, but in reality they were a very talented team with elite coaching. Guess what? They still got bounced in the second round. Pippen was at best below average as a first option against the Knicks and at times he got outplayed by both Armstrong and Grant for big stretches. 1994 ain't anything special. Sorry.

55 wins + 2nd round > less than 50 wins, 8 seed and out in the 1st round.

The only 1/9 I know of is Jerry West's NBA Finals Record, I dont remember anything else associated with these two numbers.

It's a bizarre stat as stats go. Somehow as a rookie Jordan is supposed to take down the 59-win Bucks. Next year, while coming off an injury that was supposed to be season ending, beat arguably the greatest and most loaded team of all-time in the 67-win 86 Celtics, and turn around the next year and beat that same 59-win Celtics team with a 23-year-old Charles Oakley as the Bulls second-best player.

    Seems perfectly reasonable. /s

3ball has finally broken the Lebron fans on this board. They can't even muster a decent reply anymore. Sad.

We broke 90% of the Jordan stans on Oct 11 2020.

There is only a few Neanderthals left parading Jordan.

They faced an injured Celtics team because Jordan sucked and couldn't muster a higher seed... lebron at a younger age was 2 seed and won his conference

That's the difference. Jordan was a 3rd option scrub in college, didn't make his hs squad freshman year, and never won anything in the pros until pippen starting carrying him in regular and post season.

Jordan literally sucked his whole life at every level until pippen took over.

Jordan's been a loser his entire life, and we see that carry over tremendously in his career as a gm/owner. You stan a literal lifelong loser
