It's not exactly a tragedy but Nash never got a fair shot. He was hired as a puppet and may now be getting replaced for a new puppet. The stars have a lot of power but a coach can't just be neutered.

The counterterrorism argument of course is that a coach's first job shouldn't be coaching a contender with the superstars. They should have hired an established Go9d coach to begin with but Irving and maybe Durant didn't want someone with any power.
