    AD is an elite defender, but Ayton has been a good perimeter defender since early on. I think DA can surpass him on the defensive side, not too sure he'll ever compete offensively though.

    he's great for sure, but he's also in his prime. ayton is 5 years younger and was doubted coming out of college if he could ever be a good defender.

    point is, ayton at 22 years of age is doing things not many centers can do. AD, i'll grant you that. but who else? the list is short. handful at best!

    I mean you basically just showed a switch center lol. a few guys are switchy but yeah Aytons crazy athletic. Bams switcher though for example. Giannis if you consider him a center and not a wing.

    He got turned around and allowed deep penetration because his initial positioning and stance was poor. That he recovered is the only positive otherwise it isn't something he should do again.
