The timing of this 46 point game is curious because contested jumpshooting has been the main theme in my posts lately

So it's a 1-off and probably inspired by ISH

1-offs are exceptions, and therefore make my point that his jumpshooting skill is sub-par and a weakness compared to other greats

Why couldn't he do it when it mattered?

He shot 27% on jumpers in 2015 playoffs when it was required he be aggressive.

His defender locked him up in iso's so hard, he won the FMVP.

    Damn son. Think about that.

Umm I'm pretty sure it was mostly inspired by wanting to put pee pee in Dan Gilbert any chance he gets lol. And maybe because the cavs have a Jordan patch on their unis that night...

Probably because his 2nd and 3rd options were Matthew Dellavadova and Timofey Mozgov

Fair enough.. I didn't know he played the Cavs

But it's too bad he doesn't have the skill to do that every day - kobe/jordan fans expect that everyday - maybe not the 46, but the aggressive mentality and going for it on the tough possessions...

And simply knowing that they have the jumpshooting skill to overcome any situation/defense.. they don't have to defer like lebron does his entire career

Kobe/MJ's superior jumpshooting skill and pure scoring allowed them to win with true 2nd options, while lebron needs a 1st option to play sidekick (1b)

So when Lebron shoots well it is because he is a great shooter but when he sucks in crucial moments, it's because of his teammates? What gives?

That's not an excuse because LeBron was iso'ed with Iguodala. It's on film. They iso'ed him, so he wasn't drawing double teams. In that situation, he was forced to go jumper heavy and he bombed. MJ would've torched anybody if he was allowed to play on an island like that... which would force the defense to double or even triple team him. Leaving his teammates wide open.

This. Clearly wasn’t healthy. He never shoots that badly.

He always shoots poorly at high volume because he's bad at the contested jumpshooting required of high volume shooting

His inability to be efficient at high volume prevents him from winning with true 2nd options that scores far less

he needs a 1b that is capable of matching or outscoring him for a playoff run - he needs an elite 1st option to be his sidekick

He's shot at high volume his entire career and been one of the most efficient perimeter players the vast majority of his career you ****ing retard. Seriously, are you brain damaged?
