Default Wentz will be another case study for how much weapons/coaching matter.

He was by all accounts one of the worst QBs in the league last year. He was also surrounded by lackluster weapons and an oline that was getting destroyed weekly. Not unsimilar to what Mahommes had to deal with in the super bowl.

He comes to a situation where we have on paper a good oline, although we lost our great LT.

    And good weapons.

Plus he's reunited with his boy Frank Reich as head coach.

If he goes on and pours in a 4500 total yard, 35 total TD season. Maybe we need to settle down on judging everyone by the same curve. Or at least open some people's eyes to that possibility.

Same with Hurts in about 3 years.

People who don’t use their brain will think Wentz stinks. He’s a good QB that was in a shitty situation. But he also has issues and regressed prior. His decision making has been bad. His accuracy needs improvement. He tries to do what the great QBs do which is bypass the coach and do his own thing in the huddle. Basically he thinks he’s smarter than everyone else. And it backfired. So his situation wasn’t suited for anyone to be productive not even the “great” Tom Brady. But if you pick up on the season prior 2nd half into last year. You can see he started regressing.

Hopefully he doesn’t stick it to us and plays less than 75% of the snaps so we don’t get that first. Really think we sold him for less than what he is worth. Really wanted this years first. WR class is deep for the first rd.

I still think it's Funny that Pittman won't give up his jersey number... Nor he should.

Colts biggest needs in order from most to least:
    -Left tackle
    -edge rusher
    -cornerback
    -long-range receiver

Ballard has something like 40 mill to work with IIRC.

I hope Colts draft a LT like Darrisaw in 1st round. Then a CB in 2nd round. I badly want us to sign Von Miller or JJ Watt. Either would be a perfect fit, and we have the money. Either that or draft an EDGE in 2nd round and pay a corner (just not sure who is available at CB). TY might be moving on for more money, which is okay. We will need to find a replacement WR. I'm hoping for the best.

My dream scenario would be to get both Miller and JJ. We would have godlike pass-rush
Unfortunately it would max out salaries

Colts will miss the playoffs with Wentz.

We should trade one of those first two picks for the big man in Baltimore to play LT for us. Known commodity for a win now team. Not every tackle comes in and plays like Whirfs from Tampa Bay.
