if Jordan got the same help that everyone else got, he'd have an equal-scoring partner (1b) for half his title runs... Everyone in history needed an equal-scoring partner for half their rings (1b)... Pippen is the only 2nd option with multiple rings that was never a 1b on a title run

Teammate scoring matters because equal-scoring teammates attract equal defensive attention, so only MJ faced "1-man team" defensive attention for his entire career, (thus giving maximum integrity to his stats and rings).. Kenny Smith talks about MJ being the only 1-man show here.

everyone in history that won 3 Finals needed a teammate to win FMVP or average 25 ppg for at least 1 of the Finals.. But Pippen is 0/6 in FMVP and peaked at 21 ppg, so only MJ could win 3 or 3-peat with Pippen..

Compare to 87' or 88' Worthy, who was #1 option on back-to-back champs - Jordan 7-peats with Worthy from 85-91'.. pippen was simply the low-producing bum that won the "3-peat with MJ" lottery

    94' was a super-down year..

94' Ewing almost beat the Rockets with 18 on 35%...

And Pippen almost beat Ewing with 21 on 40%..

So Jordan's 30 on 45% would destroy both, and that's well-below his career averages

    Carry on
