What people don't understand is that Bron defends with his mind.

Having a 471 IQ is far more valuable than having "hops" or whatever these young kids tend to rely on.

There's a reason they call him Big Pe-nis LeGenius.

He is the ultimate unity of mind and package.

I mean ... weren't you just basing defense on one game?

If we're gonna call a spade a spade then neither Mike or Bron are good defenders.

Also he cooked Pippen and mostly came off of screens to be fair.
    Nope he was cooking Mike

One was expected to go off (Beal and Westbrook), one wasn't.

He cooked both MJ and Pippen, and he came off of pin downs and screens too for jump shots. It's not like he was isoing against him all game to be fair.

Not sure what you think bringing that up does. Like, you do understand the guy expected NOT TO SCORE, and scoring, is a worse thing right?

Johnny Red Kerr literally says Smith is wearing Jordan out at 3:46

1:35, 2:13, 2:34, 3:01, 3:40, 3:50 were all either ISO plays or bad defense from Jordan. No screens or "pin downs" there.

Anyway, not a big deal. I just think it funny that you cant admit to your poor logic.

Stop it. AD locked in is better than anyone on the Sixers as we saw in the last PS.

Saying that, Bron is one of the candidates. He's #2 after Simmons for me but if he keeps this up, wouldn't mind if he wins it.

AD ducked Jokic like he always ducks matchups with centers.

Remember "the rebirth of Dwight Howard" in the WCF?

He aint a bum but you are overrating his defense waaay too much.

He plays better defense than guys like stephen curry, especially during times when he couldn't rely on his offensive clutch abilities.

Don't get me wrong, MJ's defense was obviously not up to snuff that game, but like I said there were plays when Pippen switched out on him or sagged off of him because it seemed that he didn't think that he would be able to make the shot. Literally the game after that Smith had 15 and Jordan had 47.

But again, there are more examples of Lebron not having the type of defensive impact that the stats suggest. Which was my point. He's just not a viable DPOY candidate, and thankfully Gobert will be the runaway winner.
