What would make you think COVID is affecting him that drastically?

It just sounds good to people, or a plausible reason.

If he continues to struggle you’ll read after the year “oh Covid really kicked my butt.”

    He was asymptomatic.

He’s my favorite player too. But this is just crap to say that it’s COVID!

Yeah dude. One of my family members almost died unfortunately. And he can't even walk right now. I have a few friends who had it and was cool. It was like a random cold that was lingering, but it wasn't the worst it felt. I dunno how their lungs are now. But some ppl when they get it, it's like they are near death's door. If not, then their lungs are shot. It definitely affects ppl differently.

And yeah dude. Just cuz he has a few great scoring games, it doesn't mean it isn't affecting him. He said it was. He gets tired easier. And it might be affecting his play. You can check it too. His overall efficiency went down. There are times where he's cool, but there are other times where it's harder to breathe.

He said it, but I'm speculating how much it contributes to his play. It seems like it does affect his play. He said it. But how much? I dunno. But the stats do point out that he was doing better pre covid than post covid.

"Just running up and down the court a few times, it's easier to get out of breath or tired a lot faster. I've noticed that since I've had COVID. It's just something I'm working on."

"It's something that we've talked about," Tatum said. "And it's not like every game where I feel it the whole game. It's just certain stretches where breathing is a little out of whack, and I talk to the medical staff and coaching staff about it. It's gotten better, obviously, from the first game I came back and played.

Hopefully he can overcome Covid-19 and have a good career.

I know as a Tatum fan, it was frustrating to me that he got it at all. Think around the NBA. He’s the biggest star to get it.

It’s like Lebron, Curry, Kawhi, Giannis, you name it, Luka, none of them are getting Covid-19 ever. Especially Lebron. But my guy? Yeah, he gets it.

I think it’s honestly mental at this point. He said he had no symptoms but was mentally a wreck about his bout with it constantly asking himself if he can breathe.

    Hopefully this isn’t career ending

Tatum has a low motor and energy. I'm not one to talk in that respect but I also don't compete at the top level of professional sports. Tatum has all the skill and physical tools. He just doesn't have that ruthless murderous mentality when it comes to dominating. His dad looks to have abandoned him and his mother. You look at guys like MJ or Bird who had super strong fathers... you need a dad to make it like that. Otherwise you'll etiher be soft (gay), or take advice from real bad guys and end up dead or in prison. Pendulum swinging both ways. No balance. The perfect medium is having a father.

This is what happens when a stupid person tries to do a lot of thinking.

Tatum came into the league with so much hype and was so baby’d by the celtics. You can see the preference for him.

I've always been impressed by his defense, i think he would make a great Scottie Pippen type player. His offense is overrated though, he does too many stepback 3's that don't work in playoffs and he thinks he's better then he is. If Celtics had a true #1 option player like Kawhi, Tatum would be thriving in the Pippen role. Celtics are putting pressure on Tatum to be a franchise player and he's just not capable of that.

I think there's some truth to this. Kawhi and Curry both had dads who pushed them and trained them. On the other hand, guys like Lebron\Shaq didn't have dads? I guess it doesn't matter when you can't shoot hahahaha

I always see Reggie lumped in with spot up shooters. He most definitely was not a spot up shooter, he wasn't even that much of a catch and shoot shooter. Spot up snipers were players like Peja Stojacovic, Robert Horry, Tracy Murray. Catch and shoot specialists are players like Klay, Korver, Reddick. Reggie was like Ray Allen, Curry and Lillard. Sure they are catch and shoot shooters at times but can also create their own space off the dribble and drain it from deep.

Don’t sleep on the long-term VID effects, where your immune system goes bonkers. It can be highly debilitating.
