The league needs to crack down on this. Game is tilted enough in favor of offense as it is.

Only reason I still watch is Bc I loved it back then.

How does someone not like things most hoopers do and see.
The modern NBA is way more entertaining.

Defense still exists lol.
Try watching some games every now and then.

You are mistaken.
Unlike you, I have actually touched a basketball, and I actually watch games.

The modern era has better attitude and better defense. The NBC stuff was ok, but not great.

In the 90s there were too many post ups and midrange jumpers. That wasn't a good look IMO. Very unaesthetic.
There were also less great wing players/guards.

I watch the best defensive player in the game regularly. That doesn't mean they aren't at a huge disadvantage in today's game

Re: Who here actually misses the 90s NBA
The only thing people actually miss about the 1990s was watching Michael Jordan.
The basketball itself wasn't great. It was slow, defensive and low scoring.
That concerned the league so much that they went to great lengths to change it.

One thing I miss from the old days were the elite bigs. At least this year we have two centers in the MVP race but over the last 15years the center spot has been pretty weak relative to the 90s.

Very true. But I love that we have Jokic and Embiid. I wish Cousins would get healthy and find a place in the league, but I think it's he won't ever return to his original self.

I loved the 2000s.
Still have lockdown defenses and when a player went off for 40, it was special.

Yeah if you don't like defense, I agree.
You've already admitted never hooping so to each their own.
