Stockton and the Mailman had it all – smothering defence, the ability to hit from deep and Malone could dunk with the best of them. For some – like Vernon Maxwell, you would have to assume – it meant getting past their terrible uniforms (that have since aged well in retrospect) to pick the Jazz, but if you wanted to rule whatever arcade you were in, Utah was a safe and smart choice.

Well , malone dunked pretty good in Nba Jam, but outside of that, never would pick them. Nobody liked Karl and stockton was a dirty player but is has nothing to do with their basketball ability

i can vouch for this.During the 90s,there are two teams that were never picked, Utah Jazz (outside of live 1998) and those Vashon Leonard,Nick van Exel, McDysee,bryant stith Nugget teams....nobody ever picked those wack ass teams.....it was bulls, lakers,(young kobe shaq) suns rockets raptors every game...hell you might even see ol' muggsy get picked every once in a while for shock factor.Also Marbury and Garnett
