Nash won 2 in a row over Shaq, over Kobe...Dame could have won if he decided to leave Portland and join stars, but my man is a leader and doesn't need to recruit KD or Iguodala in order to win rings.

He’s gonna stay ringless and no one will remember him. Though he gets your approval so I guess he wins at the end huh?

MVP doesn't mean Best Player, It means MVP to your team.
Finals mvp doesn’t mean best player either dummy

Does he even have a FMVP vote? I know VanVleet got at least one.

Steph Curry is a more complete basketball player than Lillard.

Lillard is a solid player but curry just changed the game.

What is changing the game has to do with anything?
Jordan changed the game but you got people crowning Kobe GOAt and of course LeBron as well. Your point?

Curry lacks the killer instinct. The clutch gene. Which is what separates those two.

Good college starter
Re: Lillard > Curry
Lillard has never had a notable game against the Warriors in the playoffs. Meanwhile Steph averaged over 30 points against him.

Lillard and curry both have polished offenses its not easy to argue between the two. But curry is the better shooter. Lillard is more athletic but curry compensates by being smart and crafty. Changing the game means a lot about the basketball genius one has. There is no telling how the league would be if not for the huge influences of the past. Some players are good at following suit, others create. Curry is the best shooter of all time and ushered this new way of playing. That should mean a lot.
Nevermind my point koka. Overall greatness is what I mean. You were asking I think who is the better player now. Still my answer is it’s still close and I dont mind Lillard being better than Curry or vice versa.

2014 The birth of the splash brothers (especially against the Spurs where they almost beat them and choked)
2015 GSW knew Curry & Klay was not going to cut it so they snatched Iguodala from Denver (the best team in the west at the time)
2016 Blew a 3-1 lead and started recruiting Kevin Durant right away
2017 KD joins and they make three straight NBA finals with him (5 straight technically for Steph)
2018 4 All stars against 2
2019 Loses as a lone man to the Raptors (without Klay, KD)
2020 Miss the playoffs
2021 May miss the playoffs again
Like I said the man always was in a better position than his peer.
Fun fact: KD got a winning record over LeBron in the playoffs. Is he better than LeBron?
