Steve Nash is an epic players coach.
With Mike Dantoni sitting right next to him. It's like the combination of offensive genius and players experience. Perfect for head cases like Kyrie and Durant, for Harden it's like nothing has changed really untill Durant comes back and we'll see chemistry.
Their Defense is typical Suns back in the day even worse. DeAndre Jordan is an essential presence when on the floor also.

"Offensive genius." Yeah, okay. Look, it's only perfect for malcontents like Kyrie, Durant and Harden because it's all offense. It's like only feeding a fat kid chocolate cake every meal. Of course they're going to be happy. Unfortunately the end of that road is always the same.

Agreed. Offensive genius. His teams never have a problem scoring.

Steve Nash has a 125+ IQ. He's a brilliant person. Couldn't ask for a better coach. Only a young Pat Riley or Larry Brown would be better.

except in the playoffs they can never score more than the other team. a true offensive genius would not have that problem.

Most of the NBA is using tactics and principles brought in by D'Antoni. The talk back in the day was that his Suns teams played too fast and shot too many threes, but now almost every team plays this way.
Offensive genius is a fitting term for Mike D'Antoni.
