Default Five players had triple-doubles last night, for the first time in NBA history

Can this starting 5 win a ring? What y'all think?

The "New" NBA ladies and gentlemen. Big men with skills, passing abilities, great vision, guards grabbing more rebounds than bigs.

Its just the rules combined with the pace of play and style of play. The rules has allowed for more offense so obviously scoring and assists are easier to get. Pace of play is also up so this leads to more points and assists also.

As far as rebounds theres way less traffic and bigs in the paint because they're out gaurding other bigs who are are now often on the perimeter spotting up shooting threes. This makes it alot easier for smaller gaurds to grab rebounds.

That doesn't even include Jokic and LeBron who regularly get triple doubles.

Highest skill level era in NBA history. What a time.

Apparently Randle is the first Knick in three decades to have multiple triple doubles in a season.

Westbrook with an L. I hate how empty his triple doubles have become, he used to win like 80% of the games he was dropping triple doubles in

There is some truth to that, also when teams spam pick and rolls and force clumsy bigmen to cover dudes with handles and speed at the top of the key. I personally don't like it, but you can't tell me it ain't smart to do it it's up to the defense to make adjustments.

Oh no it's definitely smart. They're taking advantage of the rules as they should. In previous generations you could physically bust through the screen. It's a foul if you do that now so teams usually just switch which leaves a slow big on a gaurd or they double the ball which leaves the screener open for a shot. Either way the defense is screwed.

The answer to this is build a lineup of long agile defenders that can gaurd multiple positions. Alot of teams are doing tbis now

There was a time when only LeBron and Rajon Rondo did this.

    Times are a changin'.

I remember when triple doubles actually meant something. Now it doesn’t really mean anything at all.

This is a great example of how LeBron changed the league.

MJ spawned a generation of ball hogs while LeBron spawned this.

Bruh bron is the original ball dominator. Mj played in a team system(triangle). You don't know what your talking about. There's more players than ever dominating the ball right now.
