He's really not. He's a 3rd team all NBA guy who had 1 mvp level season. So he's pretty much a tony parker or manu level player. Tim Duncan had two of these level of players on his team! Kawhi only has one.

Kawhi has regressed defensively. I've watched him in more than a few games this year and his motor on D has declined to the point where I'd consider him a positive defender but not elite anymore. Offensively though, he's still at his best.
