We should probably start taking a vaccine for a contagious virus that only have a 1% of death every time you get it. Let that sink in

Can't believe these vaccines aren't banned yet until now. The same thing should go for cigarettes and junk foods as well.

The difference is that with junk food and cigarettes you know what you're getting from them and no one is threatening to take away your liberties if you don't take them

Pretty sure laws were recently established not allowing indoors smoking in most places, and in cars with children, among many other regulations. Smokers aren't even allowed in the store, just think you're only asked to wear a simple cloth over your mouth
Plus there's the little difference where obesity and lung cancer isn't contagious, ya know it's a choice

Flu is contagious as well so by your logic we should all be forced to take vaccines for that as well because it's so contagious

Except no one is forced vaccines, just more weird fear mongering Emanuel. But it would be mask up if it killed 600k Americans per year. Probably more since this was just the first year, probably a million Americans a year now that it's ramped up statewide.
Interesting how you just ignored that reddit page, why are you pulling graphs off conspiracy sites? Looks like you're just searching for reasons to complain about anything.

I know but for some reason, you still keep on downplaying the part in which the virus is highly contagious. Just take a look at india; they had at least 150,000 new cases in a day. The more it spreads, the more it could, you know, cause more potential deaths towards others. Let's say you have it and you're asymptomatic then you recover from it after a few days. That's good but what if there are elderly people in your surroundings while you were still positive? Then they'd get it and could have severe symptoms. That would mean they could be hospitalized and there's a good chance they can die from it. The vaccines at least will eventually get everybody some immunity from the virus someday while protocols are being implemented until now, to prevent hospitals from being overloaded. Especially in highly contaminated areas and then neutralize the addition of new cases recorded each day as much as possible. That's a far case from smoking cigarettes and eating junk foods because those things don't infect many people at once, do they?

They're making it mandatory in New Zealand to get vaccinated or lose your job
In the UK people in care homes have to get vaccinated
Plus countless other countries, America will soon follow as well

90% of the over 70 population have already been vaccinated so what's the problem, they're "immune" so even if I do infect them they're going to live because the vaccine will protect them

Yes. Their (and when I say their it's like a handful of 3-4 users now) Their focal point is death rate and deaths. It doesn't even register to them the 31 million Americans who were sick quarantine with covid for weeks. Unable to see their families and children, out of work for 14-60 days. They see 99% and ran with that talking point for 14 months now. While most of us in the real world actually see the real repercussions this virus has had. For most of us in the know, we just don't want to get sick and put our lives on hold.
