Seriously the only reason he scored more was bronball hogging, transition and garbage time points. He is known to look shook in the finals, lucky for bronsexual argument's sake, he filled up the stat sheet albeit in a pathetic way, we didn't forget.. it's on tape . 4/10?

Comparing Iggy & Pippen as 1st options in Playoffs against East champs (Dwight/Ewing)

Iguodala 2009 Playoffs vs Dwight.... 21.5... 6.3... 6.7... 44.9%... lost in 6 (no kukoc miracle)

    Pippen 1994 Playoffs vs Ewing......... 21.7... 7.7... 4.7... 40.5%... lost in 7 (kukoc miracle)

Pippen was an Iggy-level player that was simply lucky to play alongside the GOAT in a 2-star vs 2-star format (90's) - anyone wins alongisde the goat in that format.

This isn't opinion - the OP stats confirm that Pippen was Iggy-caliber as 1st option, and was 0/6 in FMVP compared to 1/3 for Iggy.

So Pippen's peak caliber < Iggy's, and Pippen was only a 2nd option alongside Jordan, otherwise he wasn't even a 2nd option..

Love when someone starts off with wrong then is dead wrong with their next point. Iggy was given the keys to the franchise in Philly. He was not even a #2. He’s a #3. Same as Lamar Odom, Tobias Harris etc. Iggy never had #2 potential because he didn’t do anything greater exceptional on offense. Watched him his whole career. You know nothing.

You don’t know what occurs in that series with Ben Simmons.

Iguodala was named the Finals MVP, becoming the first to win the award without even having started every game in the series.

So, Lebron lost (as usual) the 15 Finals and Lost to a guy coming off the bench too? Jesus, Am I getting crazy here? That's madness.

The so called QUEEN wanted no part on that. That's embarrassing if you call yourself GOAT, isn't it?
When Iggy played for 6'es as well as coming on board with the War's he was considered a A+ defender.
He slashed and had a jumper , besides boarding over bigs'.
We have short term memories , but he was all-star caliber and when he came on to the Wars everyone said that they were LOADED.

He should not be a HOF'er but he was a difference maker, and that is why he was named MVP of the finals.
I can think of several players after their careers saying they never got respect , but did they have the impact as IGGY ??

As the 4th/5th best player on those championship Warriors, he was definitely better than these 3rd best players on some finals teams:

    Vlade Divac
    Jerome Kersey
    Dan Majerle
    Detlef Schrempf
    Jeff Hornacek
    Jeff Hornacek

Prime Iggy is one of the most underrated guys ever. Elite defense, elite IQ, clutch, great playmaker, good scorer. Just a beast. Doesn't get enough credit. He's a huge lockeroom plus

I felt like many years of Iggy were wasted in those 76ers teams where he was a number one option when he should've been a number two or even number three option on a great team. It just better fit his talent and playstyle. His defense always has been awesome. He found the perfect role in Golden State later in his career.
