Should be a close series. Hawks SHOULD win it on paper, but the Knicks have matched up well against them (3 - 0 in the RS) and they have the best defense in the league, with an experienced vet in Rose, who I trust more in crunch time than anyone on the Hawks tbh. Thibs is also the better coach. Nate McMillan doesn't have a great track record in the POs, hasn't made it out of the 2nd round and has been swept 3 out of the last runs. Hasn't won a Playoff series in 16 years.

On paper they are a better team. Unless you can count on Randle to score 40 a game as he's done during the season, this series will be closer than you think. All of those games were close, and 2 of them were a long time ago before Pierce was even fired. The other was an OT game in the second game of a back to back for the Hawks, and on the road no less.

Denadre Hunter is back. The team is playing well. Don't set yourself up to be extremely disappointed.

Not sleeping on anything. The Hawks are offensively superior, Knicks defensively. It's an interesting matchup.

Op has no clue what his talking about Hawks vs Knicks should be a very good series. Hawks were the 3rd most injured team in the league and still grabbed the 5th seed. Knicks lack top end talent and experience but play hard nosed basketball. Hawks players with playoff experience are bench players outside of Capella. I don't trust the 76rs wouldn't be surprised if they were upset.

Knicks have been one of the healthiest teams all seasons and play their starters more minutes than any other team. They are tied with a hawks team record
wise and the Hawks had the 3rd most injuries behind Houston and Orlando. You are crazy if you think the Knicks are a better team when both teams are healthy.
