NBA is scripted like WWE.
The current script calls for Lebron to make Finals and to establish young players as stars. That means established stars like Kawhi and CP3 have to be sacrificed to Lebron or younger players. But if script writers are worried about AD's injury, they might decide to change script and make Lebron a sacrificial lamb to younger players (Booker and Ayton) and elevate Kawhi to represent the West.

This sounds strange unless you realize games are decided by script writers and not players on court. In other words, Rich Paul is saying he's not confident script writers will have Lakers beating Nets.

Goat Kawhi has awaken. if Ibaka can return sometime these playoffs, the clippers can not only go to the finals but win the title.
Both Ty Lue and Kawhi have that calm, cool demeanor like Phil Jackson, they have potential to be a jordan\jackson or brady\belichick type duo.
