Happens every playoff but this is one of the goat choke jobs. Isn't this the 2nd 20+ point lead the Jizz have blown? Add the best player on the team missing, add one of the starters missing, 25 points ahead, get scored on 80-90 points in the second and lose it all. There are levels to this, and Croissant Capela just got to the biggest one.

Mitchell & Clarkson are hilariously bad defenders though, Jesus I give Con his due because he's much better than this, but he obviously played injured last night.

but an injured Rudy is supposed to guard everyone at once!
a lot of people blaming rudy for the perimeter defense collapsing but that's not really his fault in the 1st place, the wings are supposed to do their job and prevent that, rudy is the last line of defense sure, but everyone else routinely allowed clippers to drive at will.

jazz still have a great team, they should get some athletic wings that can play defense though.

and credit to Lue for making the in game adjustments, turns out he's a pretty good coach afterall.

you cant stop a great wing from driving, but gobert's hideous ineptness at closing out on corners was their death sentence. if he had any kind of just decent foot speed, he should close out with his length and be able to at least bother a drive going by him...

but he was just shook out there.

    completely unplayable.

    he really is baguette biyombo.

not saying he's not at fault, but not all of the fault lies on him. i think the obvious move would have been to take him out for the 2nd half and play a small ball lineup, but even then, the jazz don't have capable defenders at the wing position which puts a lot of pressure on the center.

theres a lot of instances last night where mitchell didn't switch and just stood there on defense instead of doing something, that increases the defensive load on rudy. mitchell does a lot of ball watching on defense, that's what he sucks at, he just stands there while the offense is switching and looking for the exploit, he stands still...at least Rudy is moving his feet and trying

^^^ not sure what the agenda is here, everyone is focused on rudy being exposed for his poor perimeter defense, but his main objective is to protect the rim and the surroinding area, mitchell's job is to guard the perimeter. if your center has to closeout on every single play, your wings are NOT doing their job correctly. and yes, i understand the modern center's job includes closing out and guarding the perimeter part time, but it was every single play last night. just watch all of the video and focus on mitchell. he stands still.

not surprising that a troll that didn't watch the game would say that. Anyone that watched saw his scary fall and him not moving well after

Eric Walden: Rudy Gobert said he fell on his hip on the 1Q, couldn’t feel his right side, couldn’t move as well afterward.

they are only here to blame Gobert win or lose. It's their sole purpose in life. It's pretty pathetic really

not sure how good Lue is. He's certainly better than a coach that does nothing two years in a row

well he was a -24 and is unplayable in the playoffs...

not good requisites for a DPOTY.

    thats why hes getting slandered.

on top he is literally useless offensively, so ppl are even less kind.

Just got done watching the game. That was unbelievable, down by 25 at the half and win by 12? WTF

Jackson and Mann were huge. Seemed like their whole team was in the zone in the 2nd half.

I didn't care who won the series but I feel good for the clippers and their fans. So little success over the years. Winning a game like that at home was huge for the franchise.

Imagine being this ungrateful. Poutine Pryzbilla is the one who lost them that series.
