Has Trae Young surpassed Luka as the best player in 2018 Draft Class (for now)?

Obviously, Luka is a phenomenal talent in his own right. Many people instantly became stans over him after winning ROTY-award comfortably & became a triple double machine. Luka was regarded as much better player than everyone else & projected to be the next face of NBA.

However, Luka hasn't showed the ability to close out games & win playoff series whenever he faces adversity.

Meanwhile, someone like Trae Young is converting his incredible stats into wins. He took Hawks out of the 1st round while dominating against an elite defensive New York Knicks team. And Trae won Game 1 against 76ers after putting up 35 PTS & 10 AST while outplaying Ben Simmons (favorite to win DPOY- award) and Joel Embiid (MVP-candidate).

Do you think Luka is no longer the best player on 2018 Draft Class after Trae surpassed him (for now)?

No but it will become a legendary class.

Yes. Trae comes off as the higher IQ player and doesn't shoot freethrows like Shaq. Also doesn't complain every damn play like Luka does, that creates a toxic environment.
