Without a whistleblower or some sort of backup somewhere, there is no way to know how many ballots went missing, let alone whether it even took place. Math is irrelevant in that case...

How? Without data backed up, how do you expect to get the wiped data back? Can't bring them back by magic unless if those ballots are still somewhere to find. It's common sense. It's not a mathematics problem but a data retrieval problem. Perhaps forensics researchers might be able to retrieve bits and pieces of it from harddrives somewhere, if they even exist.

What has been happening in Maricopa county, among others, is that people have been counting all of these physical votes, to make sure it adds up to the number of ballots scanned and thus the number of votes cast in the election.

The physical ballots are supposed to be stored, in case an audit needs to be done, that's election law.

IF there are 200K ballots missing, then you can't audit those ballots. For example they could be 200K ballots with votes for Biden that appeared as having been mailed in, but with no folds on them, proving they've never actually been into an envelope.

How would you even know they were missing or how many were missing if they were not tabulated in the first place? If they were missing altogether, it's a data retrieval issue as I mentioned rather than a mathematics problem.
