Question Why wasn't Kevin Love good enough to make the Team USA cut but Javale was?

Love was literally LeBron's best teammate in 2018

    They picked McGee over him

That's why I call 2018 the hardest carry job of all time. And the greatest playoff run any player has ever had through to the finals.

Kevin Love missed the entire 2015 playoffs, only played 60 games in 2017 and 2018, and missed key games in the playoffs due to injuries (Game 3 2016 Finals, Game 7 ECF in 2018, etc)

Dude's always been broken physically, this is the same guy that was LeBron's best teammate

So you are dumb. Kevin Love's body is not the same today as it was in 2018.

Lol no. To have the GOAT playoff run you have to actually go up against real competition.

    Round 1: Oladipo and scrubs
    Round 2: DeFrozen's Trashtors
Round 3: Rookie Tatum and Sophomore Brown

One of the easiest paths to the Finals in NBA history.

Kevin Love was a rebounding champion who was putting up numbers only matched by prime Kareem Abdul Jabbar. Kevin Love holds the record for the most consecutive games with a double double in the modern post merger era. He was a beast that LeBron tried to turn into a perimeter spot up shooter. He lost a lot of weight to try to fit into bran ball and started to break down and hasn’t been the same sense.

In his last season in Minny before playing with LeBron James, Kevin Love averaged 26.1/12.5/4.4/.591 TS%

The only 2 players to ever have that stat line are

    https://www.basketball-reference.com...91&order_by=ws

    1. Prime Kareem Abdul Jabbar in 72
    2. Kevin Love 14

In summary: Kevin Love was a future ATG who’s career was derailed by LeBron ball

    Bingo.

This is like a “hero” burning down a bridge so he gets the glory for saving the school bus from falling off the cliff.

Bron ball didn’t allow him to hold the ball or be in the paint. It relegated him into a spot up shooter instead. LeBron’s sub optimal and inefficient style of play requires a talent overload in order to win. I.E. LeBron needed players that produced more as his third option than other players’ second options. (Kevin Love and Chris Bosh’s production before LeBron was much greater than Pau Gasols before Kobe). Kobe only needed Pau to win. He didn’t need Pau plus another player better than Pau.

    Love stats Pre-LeBron - 26/13/2/59% TS

    Bosh stats Pre-LeBron - 24/11/2/59% TS

    Pau stats Pre-Kobe - 19/8/3/59% TS

It's safe to say that Kevin Love and Chris Bosh were better than Pau Gasol before they joined with their new teams

LeBron needed Bosh and Love as third options when he won

Kobe had Paul Gasol as a second option when he won
