Apparently the Lakers want to buy the Toronto Raptors and absorb the assets

True. I mean even just looking at the Kobe comparison. His next best player was Gasol. Pau was a Kevin Love caliber level player. And that was the 3rd option on the Cavs teams.

Love was a 5x All Star and Gasol was a 6x All Star.

Now, LeBron’s THIRD option on his Super Friend Heat teams was an 11x All Star caliber franchise PF in Chris Bosh. 1st ballot Hall of Famer. Think about that.

It really is embarrassing. Now he’s got Anthony Davis and Westbrick? Good lord. How much help does he need?

Well, considering the team to come out of the west will likely face the Durant, Harden, Kyrie Nets...quite a bit of help, Coach.

It's common sense really. I don't know why that poster doesn't understand that.

Obsession with Lebron whether as a stan or a hater makes many a poster here say stupid shit.

Gasol is much better than Love He's probably better than Bosh too though that is a legitimate discussion. This is the standard 3ball argument that he won with "only Pippen", when Gasol in '09 & '10, like Pippen, was almost always better than the opposing teams 2nd option. Jordan & Kobe had the best or 2nd best supporting cast in the league when they won, same as LeBron does now. And neither faced a team even close to as good as Brooklyn

That's fine by me. At least i'm not depending on washed up bums like Westbrook\Melo\Dwight who haven't been good in the playoffs for the last decade.

Honestly how are you going to beat a healthy Brooklyn team, KD, Harden, Irving, Harris, Mills, ect. You NEED to build a team that can beat them whether its with 1 super star with 4 other all stars or 5 superstars and bench scrubs, whatever you need to do. Yet people here conplaining Lakers are actually trying to build a team that can take on Brooklyn.

I agree with you as the Nets will be massive favourites to win the title this year much as the Warriors were in 2017.
