Default anyone else know why only black players from the 50's/60's/70's get respect?

( with the exception of jerry west obviously but only due to him being the nba logo )

guys who get respect all time

    - Bill Russell ( black )

    - Wilt Chamberlain ( black )

    - Oscar Robertson ( black )

    - Elgin Baylor ( black )

    - Kareem Abdul Jabbar ( black )

    - Julius Erving ( black

    guys who get no respect

    - George Mikan ( first dominant center and leader of the first dynasty Lakers )

    - Bob Pettit ( one of the most dominant PF's ever )

    - John Havlicek ( 8 for 8 in finals and leader of later and post celtics dynasty )

    - Bob Cousy ( true leader of the early celtics dynasty )

    - Rick Barry ( had some of the most dominant finals ever )

    - Paul Arizin ( averaged almost 30ppg in a title run )

    - Bill Sharman ( legendary celtic and big time scorer )

    - Tom Heinsohn ( led multiple celtics titles in scoring )

    - Gail Goodrich ( led wilts 1972 lakers playoff and finals team in scoring and shot 46% to wests 37% for the post season )

    - Dave Cowens ( from the 70s winning League MVP and 2 championships. nobody cares. )

    - Billy Cunningham ( another league mvp/champion combo )

    - Pete Maravich ( invented half the moves used today )

and in the 80s Kevin Mchale isn't given nearly the credit he deserves. he topped larry bird in scoring for the 1986 finals

Mark Price was a dominant point guard. nobody cares

Danny Ainge should be on deion sanders and bo jacksons level in terms of multi sport athletes. he was one of the best football/baseball and basketball players in college. nobody cares

    Arvydas Sabonis? no respect

    Jack Sickma? no respect

    Mark Eaton? no respect

but we all remember every black guy from these eras from dr J to moses to isiah and many more. if they're black they're a made man if they did anything great. even if they never won a damn thing like barkley or dominique

why is there so much racism in the nba and throughout history

history will have you believe that there were only 3 white guys that were ever any good

    Jerry West
    Larry Bird
    Luka Doncic

oh and did you hear? now john stockton is a bum like bob cousy and had no left hand

Eh I actually see it as the other way around. There's not many white stars, so they try to prop up the very few that they have. Jerry west wins a finals mvp even when he loses, luka doncic gets all these all NBA 1st teams, Larry bird was hyped as the great white god or whatever. Jokic just won mvp even though he doesn't play defense.
