Default The reason why it makes sense you don't only live once

This is what I was thinking. If you're alive once, then it's proven that you can actually have a life. Every single person that has lived can say that they did live once. One time is more than zero times. So it's proven that it can happen. Now maybe you might not be the same exact person or being in the next realm of existence. But it's already proven that you can be born. What's not to say it can't happen again? And when you're dead, you don't know it. Unless you're in Heaven, then you might know it.

I'm agnostic so I can't say anything is certain other than a ton of religion has been proven false but God and heaven can't be proven or disproven but if you take a step back and realize just how meaningless our lives are and how simplistic we are its easy to assume the possibility that we're just advanced parasites made of meat and bone and are sort of a cancerous creation that destroys the planet and other creatures more than anything. we're a plague.

we're like flies sucking on liquid sugar that we call coke or Pepsi. we just live to multiply. humans are inherently evil and only wanna see others do as well as them. never better. we lose our experiences and intelligence after a head injury or old age. people in vegetative states are basically just meat we keep alive. we eat intelligent creatures that we just assume are soulless and here for our consumption. and they are. but we're probably just as insignificant. at what point did humans start going to heaven. why did God wait till our primordial ancestors became less ape like. why wait 100,000 years to tell us some story about how all those prehistoric cavemen never existed even though they did. why lie to us. why leave them out. why only choose people based on ethnicities or geography. why give so many cultures different stories. and if religion is wrong and everyone goes to heaven then must we share heaven with Neanderthals. and rhen how far do we go back. when we were lizards.

is it all animals that are reincarnated or go to heaven. and if we're reincarnated we lose our experiences anyway. then we also lose our souls since our soul is our experiences. we learn everything new again like we never existed. that's basically eternal death regardless if our kinetic energy passes on. and our solar system will inevitably be sucked into the black hole that's at the center of our galaxy. so no matter what our history will cease to exist so all of this is literally for nothing. we don't matter and humans are just another blip on a piece of dust in the universe like the dinosaurs. it's way more likely that when we die we go back to what we were before life. and we didn't miss not being alive before becoming self aware. we know nothing before the age of 2 or 3. we can go to sleep and wake up in an instant if we don't dream.

so the only logical idea of a possible afterlife would be to die and be instantly brought to the end of the universe when everything is again sucked back in on itself to create another big bang. and at that moment we are a collective and one united great being like a God. it might be possible with enough energy. but one thing is most likely certain. we won't die and have magical powers and be invisible people that fly around in the cloud and can do whatever we want and carry on our human like tendencies till the end of time. because after our galaxy is crushed and our universe collapses. where do you go. are you stuck forever in a void of non-existence. is it another realm where it is your own created universe like a holodeck in star trek. probably not.

is every bug we killed and animal we ate waiting for us in the afterlife to give us shit. are relatives gonna shame us for jacking off to porn. would there even be any privacy. would it be like groundhog day where after you do whatever you want every day for years you become bored and want it to end because it all.means nothing. how much fun could a person have just observing living people or going back and forward through time. and without our human bodies that react to endorphins and impulses would we even be hungry or tired or horny. probly not. imagine never going to sleep. it would be tormenting. imagine never being able to pig out or jack off or have sex again. imagine losing all interest in porn. imagine how many people would be corrupted in the afterlife and spying on females or creating their own sex slaves in their mind. are you punished. would you go to hell. are we all changed into perfect beings in death and have no evil desires. then if so why punish anyone. why have a hell. and we're products of society anyway so how can you blame anyone when our faults are caused by our upbringing. our parents are mostly to blame for our mistakes. and then you can't blame them either. or their parents and so on. and then what rules does God play by. ones we made up for today or 2000 years ago. there's just so many questions and I could go on forever.

so why not just wait till your dead to find out

I think what the OP is trying to say is that there is life after death.

isn't that impossible to know for sure. and if there was life after death wouldn't it be impossible to bring anyone back from a heart attack or drowning. that person's soul would have moved on. so they were born again into a different baby and then suddenly ripped back to their body that just died? is that why there still births

    seems illogical
