They had a lot of net negative players last season. I think when Oubre and Wiseman were on the court, it resulted in some of the worst results in the team even with Steph on the court, they were massive black holes. Also poor coaching from Kerr since both had massive high usg % instead of leaving it to Steph and Dray. When both got injured and Steph came back from injury, they went 15-5 and had the best defensive record, net rating and much better offense during the last 20 games of the season. They let all their fodder players and low IQ players go and signed shooters and players with high IQ. Bron needs 3 point snipers to space the floor and others to not clog the paint. Steph needs high IQ players that know where to be and what to do, with some shooters.

Steph and dumb players like Oubre is a recipe for disaster.

Wiseman is just ass but Oubre has at least been somewhat useful in other systems. Too bad he didn’t work out. To be fair to Wiseman he was a rookie. I assume he’ll improve but not sure he’ll get much time this year unless he’s improved a lot. Possible trade piece?

Curry might have more impact in the RS but KD is the better Playoffs/big game performer.

So far, post-achilles KD is shooting 54% from 10-16 ft and 55% on long 2s and 44% from 3. Curry's 3s fall short at the end of big games while KD can always get that mid-range look. Steph's almost completely abandoned his mid-range game and isn't close to as efficient in the paint as Durant.

Also in playoffs, Opponents always target Curry as he is defensively weak.

They are both arguably better than MJ.

There is no such thing as a much better player than Durant. Curry is capable of having a better game or season but Durant is just as great (and more talented) offensively and on defense there is no comparison.

Wiseman is a weird case. He was a rookie that didn't have training with the team, only played 3 games in college. I don't think Lacob is selling him, he sees him & Kuminga as the pieces to move in the future once Steph drops. Only way they trade him is if he tanks entirely and someone offers a crazy deal, and I don't think there's a team out there just waiting to help the Warriors.

FO hired a new assistant coach that handles bigs, I believe he helped coach Jokic when he was younger. This is primarily done to help Wiseman develop properly. Warriors really need a big that's actually big though, they technically need a Wiseman but not to be awful like he was last season. He's already gotten much bigger and he's already one of the most athletic 5s out there. I'm hoping Kerr slowly introduces him to the team instead of starting him and changing the system to feed Wiseman for the first 5 minutes of the game which is what they did before he got injured. There's too many questions with this guy but if he works out, Warriors won't have any weaknesses heading into PS presuming they are healthy & Klay gets close to his OG level by then.

Curry stans like Stephonit actually say that he's overrated, blames him for what happened in the 2019 first round against the clippers despite the warriors winning that series.

Durant got the Finals MVPs because he was a better player in a vacuum while stacking himself on top of a team that was built around Curry's skillset and went 73-9 the previous year while beating Durant himself in the playoffs.

In other words, those two rings somehow make both Durant and Curry look bad individually, while at the same time very much making those Warriors teams look like the most stacked, though cowardly stacked, team of all time.

Essentially the same type of scenario that would've happened had Jordan signed with the Pistons in 1990. Except Isiah Thomas already had a Finals MVP unlike Curry. And of course Jordan didn't need to do that because the GOAT perimeter defender Scottie Pippen was just entering his prime in 1990 and the Bulls were entering one of the most watered-down decades in basketball history where they could win rings without real competition.

Can't be whining about stacked teams when you're a Lebron stan babyboi. Can't have it both ways.

It seems kids choice awards from children channels like nickelodeon have become more valuable and prestigious over finals mvps these days.

Hey, don't forget about the implementation of the flagrant foul in the 1990s after he cried to the refs about the bad boy pistons too. Doofus.
