Default Nancy Pelosi’s husband buys millions in computer-chip stocks before big subsidy vote

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband purchased up to $5 million in stock options on a computer-chip company ahead of a vote on legislation next week that would deliver billions of dollars in subsidies to boost the chip-manufacturing industry, new financial disclosures show.

Paul Pelosi purchased on June 17, 20,000 shares of Nvidia, a top semiconductor company, worth between $1 million and $5 million, the Daily Caller reported, citing disclosure reports filed by the House speaker.

“It certainly raises the specter that Paul Pelosi could have access to some insider legislative information,” Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist for the left-wing think tank Public Citizen, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “This is the reason why there is a stock trading app that exclusively monitors Paul’s trading activity and then its followers do likewise.”

brazzen as f*uck. they don't even try to hide it anymore.

If NVIDIA is mentioned in the language of the bill, it's 100% blatant insider trading. The bill is focused on building new microchip factories afaik. For now, NVIDIA doesn't make its own chips so they don't stand to benefit as much as intel, amd, texas instruments, micron. NVIDIA buys its chips from TSMC. NVIDIA could certainly create semiconductor factories & enter the manufacturing business. Regardless, that is when things get a bit difficult to prove insider trading.

They did the rams thing a few weeks before the covid mandates going in effect and Nancy’s defense was “my husband controls all the finances”

Implying that she didn’t talk to her husband about the meetings she was having about shutting down the country.

    Amazing lol

Thanks to Pelosi, its currently not illegal for congress to do insider trading... so why doesnt she just own it? Its not like it isnt blatantly obvious...

I remember reading about this news, back on July 19, $52 billion CHIPS Act at the tech website that I frequent, and just being disappointed how no one in the comment section were mentioning this about Pelosi's husband buying $5 million worth of NVidia stock immediately before the news was announced. The public is always unaware. And that's probably the real agenda behind the whole deal, for certain people to get wealthier. They just don't hand out 52 billion out of the goodness of their heart, and to benefit Americans.

Luckily, perhaps because of all the backlash, her husband recently sold the stocks at a loss. It's just getting too much heat, and it's best to sell back at a loss.

These people are super old, are going to be dead relatively soon, yet this drive for money and power is so strong. I mean I understand they wouldn't be in the position that they're in their younger years if they were any different.
