The rings count but the idea that he's the greatest QB of all-time is just absurd. He's footballs Yogi Berra top five, multi MVP's most rings ever but not the GOAT.

hes the greatest based on accomplishments and longevity stats

its not much different than the reason people put jordan over kobe or Kareem over wilt when it's obvious kobe is more skilled than MJ was and wilt was waaaaay more dominant than Kareem

careers and stats are what decides the goat rankings.

if it was about talent then the top 10 players all time would be

    1. Kobe
    2. Bird
    3. Durant
    4. Hakeem
    5. Tmac
    6. Garnett
    7. Curry
    8. Nash
    9. Kyrie
    10. Iverson

or something similar to this at least. so who cares if some other guys had more power or accuracy at times. in a vacuum at one time was there guys better than brady ever was. sure. bit that doesn't put them over a guy with 7 rings, 3 mvps, 5 superbowl mvps and every damn record lol

the best football player ever to me is Lawrence Taylor but Brady is obviously the goat QB

Yeah bro, the guy who has by FAR the most Super Bowl titles and holds virtually every passing record being considered the GOAT is just absurd, totally fcking absurd.. It's hard to believe anyone could even reach such an absurd conclusion. Personally, I'm not even sure he's the best QB in Pats history, let alone of all time.

    9/10 passing yards
    9/10 touchdowns
    9/10 passer rating

All played in post 2000 NFL so any stats are asterisks to hell to me because they all came from the same generation of players. The fact that they made it a rule that you can't hit a QB near his knees to extend the longevity of players because of Tom Brady invalidates most of his accomplishments. He loses three of those rings if the refs didn't have an agenda against the Raiders.

Or ya know, calling the rule for what it was at the time by Walt Coleman. He even doubled down saying he still agrees with the call today. Good call, terrible rule. Glad they ended up getting rid of it years later.

The Raiders have always dealt with shady dealings with the NFL...even this season Raiders are doing well and what do you know an Email leak that causes John Gruden to get cancelled. Did Gruden do it sure...is it very suspicious that it doesn't come out until The Raiders turn the corner and make a divisional run and nobody else gets busted.

Those rings Brady has is a team accomplishment. He shouldn't be GOAT because of that.

Also, as far as the most talented player of all time is concerned, Wilt was more talented than Kobe, and all of the others on that list.
