Pretty simple really. Easier conference for most of career and colluding allowed bron to play more games in that span.

Lebron had 3 seasons to develop his team into a favored high seed before entering the 06' Playoffs, while Jordan was forced to carry his worst teams in Year 1 as an 8 seed

But when Jordan had 3 healthy years to develop his team (88'), he made the 2nd Round just like 06' Lebron.. The difference is that Lebron had a veteran high seed in a conference that 1-star teams were winning (Iverson, Dwight, Kidd), while Jordan had rookie 8 seeds in a conference that required a super-team to win

Low seeds lose in the 1st Round and the first couple times Lebron had one, he lost in the 1st Round (21' and this year)

So how did LBJ outscore MJ in EQUAL playoff runs? Was it the lack of 1st round exits

Imagine if we actually switched it around and LeBron was able to make the playoffs with a 30-52 record and Jordan wasn't with a 42-40. Right now LeBron would have 8K+ career playoffs points and Jordan would be sitting at 5.5K
