If your team had an opportunity - would you want Jimmy Butler ?
This is a gritty player , I could all most go so far as a punishing type of player.
He doesn't shoot the 3.
But supposedly has leadership abilities .
Butler vs Middleton = I will take Middleton every day for the Bucks.
What about your team > ????

Nah, too much of a drama queen for a third-tier star.

Yeah lol. What kinda question is this? Oh, a Bucks fan. Y'all are already stacked, you have a rich man's Butler in Giannis, no need for Jimmy.
Does he fight his teammates/coaches? Yeah, sometimes. But he makes every team better.

Not quite enough in his offensive bag to be a #1 option in the playoffs on a year to year basis but the best sidekick ever. Kind of like a modern day Pippen but not quite that good. I would love to have him as Kawhi's sidekick but i guess he thought he was above that.

As a magic fan I'd give up about 90% of my roster for him

Jimmy's better than most #1 option in the NBA so why not?

I like a lot of these posts ... some show that they have not watched him this year compared to past years.
But I like the idea of him as a side kick second option.
So Miami's supposedly best player is in the option 2 , side kick level.
It will be interesting if Heat get to the finals

Butler is better than Pippen was

Butler's one of the most impactful players in the league. Should be in the conversation for MVP in my opinion.

Yeah, Miami will need some luck or win by committee to reach the Finals. Jimmy is very good though. 2nd option is his ideal fit. Herro, Bam, and Lowry aren't 1st option tier either.

100%...he's basically this generations Bill Russell/John Stockton/Bill Laimbeer/Chris Paul a third/fourth option that run the team. Those are the scary guys to play against.

How could anyone not want a 20/7/7 two way player of that versatility and team oriented game? He was #1 with KAT and carried Embiid and Simmons in the playoffs. Jimmy is an alpha dog

Is anyone forgetting he is owed 145 million over the next 3 years. One of the worst contracts for a 3rd tier star.

Cause if you add Jimmy and said team won a title... it wouldn't be considered organic.
