In the past few days, Monkeypox has (supposedly) been detected all over Europe, and as of yesterday the US officially (supposedly) has its first case.

For years, westerners have been living under the impression that they are safe from monkeypox, because the virus has existed forever and there has never in history been a serious outbreak in Europe or the US... but it should be no surprise that this virus decided to suddenly lash out at the very moment that americans and euros are starting to move on from the last supposed pandemic.

Gay and bisexual men are being urged to be alert to unusual rashes or lesions after four new cases of the monkeypox virus were confirmed by UK health authorities, taking the total number of infections in the country to seven since the first case emerged earlier this year.

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said on Monday evening that all of the new cases, three in London and one in the north east of England, self-identify as gay, bisexual or other men who have sex with men (MSM).

How bad can monkey pox possibly be? Back in the 80s people like you and Fauci were saying the same thing about the last gay virus - AIDS, and yet ~35 years later I'm still here plowing dirty dudes.
