I would personally move Mitchell, his only skill is iso volume and thats the kind of thing you can always fleece dumb people to give you back a higher return on. But it sounds like Rudy is the one forcing the issue so I guess he’ll be the one moved.

Be interesting to see who‘s willing to take that bloated contract.

His deal will be a pretty standard all star one soon. Like Mike Conley with the initial sticker shock before we realized it’s a whole new world. If the new deal is even close to what’s reported the jump will be even worse than the 2016 one.

Good point, you might get more moving Mitchell, he kind of reminds me of Booker, his raw stats are impressive, but it's obvious his on court impact isn't superstar level, although I will say Mitchell has had a better postseason career than Booker.

The disrespect Gobert gets seems overboard at times, his defensive shortcomings has alot to do with his teammates constantly getting beat off the dribble and/or playing lazy defense. Put him on a team like Boston and Gobert's weaknesses wouldn't get exploited.

thing is, it's not as if there could be any type of package deal where teams feel like they got a steal with a guy that plays on the lower end of 30 min.

If Gobert wants out, I imagine him being waived. The reality is there's not much in his head, which creates a lot of stagnant in just about any offense anyone wants to try and run.

I genuinely wish the Jazz would call you to coach. Let you only play hard working Good defenders who will be constantly looking to get the ball to Rudy like it’s 1982 so they can lose anyway but get to hear how proud you are of their total game effort on the way to it.

You’d have a “Salt Lake Gritty” alternate jersey that was colored to look like a dirty wife beater after a long day down a coal mine and the fans would love those 78-97 losses(All 68 of them). On the plus side your grimy team of rejects likely gets you fired but earns you an espn special probably narrated by Jeff Van Gundy and Hubie with an intro from Larry Brown on how the process is more important than the results.

Id tune into every game save every clip and make an incredibly boring highlight video set to:
