Kobe played on one leg and averaged considerably less minutes and still didn't get outscored by a role player like Bran did, and KB was the best player on his team while Bran was 3rd.

Shut the **** up, you baboon. Anyone with basic anatomical knowledge knows that the Injury Steph sustained had little impact on vertical bursty movements in short spurts. Insult to the medial collateral ligament would primarily compromise his ability to move laterally in quick bursts and has very little to do with hops. This is the same reason he couldn't beat people like Steven Adams and Kevin Frickin Love off the dribble and Kyrie could overplay his 3 point shots because he couldn't drive past him.

Both the 2016 Cavs and 2011 Mavs only had 1 all-star, so talent wise it cancels out

Difference is the Cavs faced a 73 win team while the Mavs faced a team that won 1 more game than them in the regular season

The 2011 Mavs were +2000 huge long shot odds underdog at winning the title and the Heat who were expected to be a not 4, not 5, not 6 dynasty were #1 +280 favorites.

Conversely the 2016 Cavs were odds favorites to start the season over the warriors. And they suffered no injury loss to disqualify the odds. People simply couldn't predict how dominant the warriors chemistry and teamwork would be.

Silver ruined it all and extended the series for money and ratings. Which proved to be extremely profitable and his behavior not at all unpredictable given his demographic.
