1. the dead weight of Blair, Bonner and Richard Jefferson and development of Parker/Manu/Kawhi and luxury tax limitations
2. devastating injuries and player development

and not bail/team hop - instead of rebuilding. Ditto bad GMing.

While you pretend Duncan didn't get drafted onto what was essentially a 50 win team with an MVP calibre player right off the bat.

Which one is best?

What self respecting owner would take a guy who team hops all around the league in his prime? Not only on principle, but functionally... You re only getting on average 5 years out of this guy. Where as Curry and Duncan can give you ~15+ years.

Not even considering Curry and Duncan are cornerstones who can fit anywhere and provide ultimate chemistry ~ dynasty potential without superstar talent...

Are you both saying Lebron wouldn't have bailed when DRob got old and before Parker and Manu developed? You conveniently forget the years of losing to PHX in the first round, being swept by Shaq/Kobe/Lakers and losing again to them 4-1 the following year. Not to mention the dog years of Bonner/Blair/Richard Jefferson before the development of Kawhi.

We have a 19 year history of staying on the same team through thick and thin/ups and downs vs a 19 year career of bailing and team hopping to 4 different teams.

Spurs won a championship in D-Rob's last season when he was old.. Another one just 2 years later when Manu and Parker were developing into nice players, Manu in particular was already a beast by 2005

It's like people forget LeBron spent his first 7 years in the league with one franchise that was terribly ran.
