If LeBron stays in Cleveland in 2010 I am fairly certain that the Cavs **** his career up to the point that he's still ringless.

And it actually started long before Lebron had a claim to anything. When exactly who's to say? But when Kobe's solo portion of his career began to take off it was definitely used by Mj stans to try and diminish his standing no matter how unnecessary it was. Maybe it inadvertently started with Mj and Magic Johnson because when Mj started winning Magic hit him with, let me know when you got 5 of em. Once Jordan had 6 we were comfortable putting him over any modern player while dismissing the 60s and 70s basically. Simple one minded way of viewing a complex game tho.
