Venice will begin charging visitors who just visit for the day

Those who ignore the new rules will risk fines of more than $300."

This is a good rule. Venice is basically disney land for boomers, their entire economy is built around retirees who are willing and able to spend $10 per day to walk around an open air sewer of a city
