No I called him one of the best PF's in the game. Either he is or he isn't. D is rarely brought into those conversations.

Removing Bev and Vando and replacing them with Gobert and adding Kyle Anderson barely makes them any better in your eyes?

Around 10 so they could be 6-9 but I don't see them being top 5 or a truly elite defense with some of the guys they have. Edwards is too young and Russell & Towns are sub-par as defenders. They'll still be very good in the RS with the talent they have so I'm excited to see how it compares to the Gobert teams in Utah but I see the same flaws, and I'm not sure they're going to have a #1 offense like the Jazz did.

D.Mitchell was supposed to be a defensive specialist and look where he is now. Edwards has mad potential and I think he'll develop into a decent enough defender but the mental lapses are still there and you can't expect him to have it all figured out at this age. He needs to have a Kobe-like leap in his early 20s to really put the Wolves into contention status.

Sure, but you got people making excuses for Tatum at age 24 so the timeline with Edwards and Gobert isn't ideal. Gobert is great but he's not going to carry the team on both ends so he needs Towns and Edwards to go to another level. I hope I'm wrong about this team as they've only made it out of the 1st round once in like 3 decades but we'll see.
